Sochna bhi mat

Chrys quoted some study that said that 7 out of 10 women have been sexually assaulted at some point in their lives. He seemed sceptical. But I think the number is probably higher. Most sexual assault gets dismissed as eve-teasing. I hate that description. Teasing is a harmless activity amongst friends. What happens on the streets is not harmless.
Someone singing a lewd song, passing disgusting comments, lecherous looks, bottom pinching, breast grabbing and other inappropriate touching. I have endured it all, most times fighting back, but sometimes helplessly looking around to find the source that probably disappeared in the crowd.
I have yet to meet a girl/woman who hasn't faced such actions in their lives. So my estimate is 10/10 women are sexually assaulted at some point or the other. They either never admit it or don't know that this is an assault and take it in their stride as a part of everyday living.
Now, another fact... 10/10 men would have sexually assaulted a woman at some point in their lives. It could be an inappropriate thought, but it is an assault alright. Don't try to justify it by saying that it was only in my mind. That is how it starts.

Seema, true and to the point...

on inappropriate thoughts.... that's harsh but a fact.. I cannot justify if that has to do with the biological creation of God or the needs of body....but would say that is where the difference between a cultured and uncultured mind comes into picture .....
