Today, everything is so organised (for people who have the budget of course). One of the projects we went to gave us an exceptionally large brochure and a CD with an impressive presentation. It's another matter that we weren't too impressed by the flat itself. They also had a young girl, fresh out of junior college, making presentations about the project. Of course she was too dumb to answer any questions. She just went about her studied spiel and gave us vague "I'll get back to you on that" type of answers later. They had a large waiting area, almost like a cafe and served snacks there. I think most people were only crowding the place for a free meal.
If you go to see a show flat, chances are you will want to stay there right away. I saw this place in the western suburbs where I estimate the builder spent at least 30 lakhs on the interiors for a 3BHK... maybe more. They treat the show flat like a temple. You have to remove your shoes outside and you cannot touch anything or sit on anything inside... (least of all the loo). God alone knows how close the show flat is to the final product.
Well, our search has almost ended... hopefully everything will go well.

Don't forget you pay for all those snacks and the large waiting area too when you buy the flat.
